Caffewerks Puck Screen - 53.5mm Overview

Help even and soften the delivery of water to your portafilter’s coffee bed with the Caffewerks Puck Screen. This screen is made to fit 800 Series Breville espresso machine portafilters, and works to help prevent channeling for more balanced extractions.

To use this puck screen, simply place it on top of a tamped bed of espresso in your portafilter before starting your extraction. Due to where it sits during the extraction process, the Caffewerks Puck Screen helps reduce channeling. This is accomplished by serving as a barrier that aids in providing a more even and consistent distribution of water though grinds.

The Caffewerks Puck Screen also prevents coffee from coming into direct contact with your shower screen. This means that while using it, you’ll rarely have to clean your shower screen, if at all.

The Caffewerks Puck Screen is 1.7mm thick and uses a 150-micron filter element.
