In a first from Nespresso, the Prodigio comes with an app (connected via Bluetooth) that allows you to monitor various aspects of the machine's operation. From your phone you can track your capsule stock and the app will alert you once you reach a pre-determined threshold. You can then simply click the app to duplicate your last Nespresso Grand Cru order or to create a new one. You can also program start up times to automatically power on your machine to brew at any time throughout the day. From the app you'll also receive updates for descaling your machine, low water level warnings, and other maintenance alerts when the Prodigio needs your attention.

In a move that's a first for Nespresso, the Prodigio is a single-serve espresso machine that connects to your smart phone via app for easy brewing and reordering of Nepresso OriginalLine capsules. Bundled with the redesigned Aeroccino 3 milk frother, the Prodigio can brew ristretto, espresso, and lungo cup sizes and froth milk for drinks like cappuccinos, lattes, and espresso doppio. To accommodate taller cups, the cup support can be removed from underneath the brew spout. As a member of Nespresso's OriginalLine series of machines, the Prodigio brews using their world famous espresso capsule system.
