Learn what to do if the brew unit or dump box in your Gaggia Brera is stuck inside the machine, will not go back into the machine, or if the display is showing a top lights or blinking triangle error. Is the Brew Unit Stuck Inside or Outside of the Machine? If the brew unit is stuck inside the machine, or will not go back in, it will likely mean either the brew unit or machine is not in the “home” position. The gear in the machine and the brew unit itself both need to be in home position for the brew unit to be able to be either removed or inserted. Generally it will be the machine in the wrong position when the brew unit won't come out, and the brew unit in the wrong position if it will not go back in. The top lights error and blinking triangle error can also refer to brew unit (or brew unit sensor or gear) issues. If the video does not help get the brew group gear to home position, you can use the Test Mode on your machine to get the gear inside the machine in the proper home position so that the brew unit can be removed or inserted into the machine.
