Owning the Breville BES810BSS Duo-Temp Pro
The Breville Duo-Temp Pro BES810BSS espresso machine is designed for stability and control throughout the entire steaming and brewing processes. For starters, the Duo-Temp sports a coveted PID temperature controller, for even greater temperature stability. When transitioning between steaming and brewing, the Duo-Temp uses an automatic purge function to flush cold water through the heating system. This helps to return the machine to the proper temperature for espresso brewing, preventing you from scalding your espresso and increasing stability. When brewing, the low pressure pre-infusion system gradually increases pressure. First pre-wetting your grounds for even extraction before increasing to full brew pressure.
A powerful 1600W stainless steel water control accurately controls water temperature and helps to ensure rapid heating. A new feature of the Duo-Temp Pro is the electronic PID temperature controller for increased temperature stability. After steaming milk, the Duo-Temp has an automatic purge function which flushes cold water through the heating system in order to rapidly return it to the ideal temperature for espresso extraction. The pre-infusion system is designed to gradually increase water pressure when pulling a shot. Initial pre-wetting of the grounds is performed at low pressure before increasing to the recommended 9 bar. The Breville Duo-Temp Pro comes with a number of accessories including four 54mm filter baskets, one 54mm stainless steel portafilter, one 16 fl.oz stainless steel frothing pitcher, one integrated and removable tamper, cleaning tablets, a silicon cleaning disc, an Allen key, and Breville’s patented Razor Precision Dose Trimming Tool.
