Owning the Nespresso Prodigio and Aeroccino
In a move that's a first for Nespresso, the Prodigio is a single-serve espresso machine that connects to your smart phone via app for easy brewing and reordering of Nepresso OriginalLine capsules. Bundled with the redesigned Aeroccino 3 milk frother, the Prodigio can brew ristretto, espresso, and lungo cup sizes and froth milk for drinks like cappuccinos, lattes, and espresso doppio. To accommodate taller cups, the cup support can be removed from underneath the brew spout. In a first from Nespresso, the Prodigio comes with an app (connected via Bluetooth) that allows you to monitor various aspects of the machine's operation. From your phone you can track your capsule stock and the app will alert you once you reach a predetermined threshold. You can then simply click the app to duplicate your last Nespresso Grand Cru order or to create a new one. You can also program start up times to automatically power on your machine to brew at any time throughout the day. From the app you'll also receive updates for descaling your machine, low water level warnings, and other maintenance alerts when the Prodigio needs your attention.
As a member of Nespresso's OriginalLine series of machines, the Prodigio brews using their world famous espresso capsule system. Subscribe to the Nespresso Club for access to more 20 unique flavors and blends including specialized capsules for lungos, decaf, and flavored espresso. Please Note: This machine is not compatible for use with Nespresso Vertuoline capsules. Froth milk for your favorite hot and cold espresso drinks in just 60 seconds. Press the frothing button for heated milk frothing, press and hold the button for cold milk frothing. The Aeroccino 3 also includes a separate whisk for heating milk without frothing it. The base of the frother includes storage space for the whisk that isn't in use.
