The New Look
The Gaggia Cadorna Prestige has three new appearance options available to customers: Dark Chocolate Straight Grain, Zebrano Grain, and Monaco Walnut. The side panels are hydro-dipped to resemble wood-grain for a convincing, natural look. These are the first super automatic machines to arrive at our catalog with custom wood grain accents, and quite possibly some of the first to hit the market. Traditionally, super automatic machines have always favored flat colors wrapped around the whole machine, but we've seen that our customers like having the option for a more exotic look, so we made it possible. What features does the Cadorna Prestige have?
The first thing you might notice is the full color TFT display at the top of the machine. It's the most advanced display amongst Gaggia machines to date, presenting each drink option in full color, with easily readable options for customization. Coffee temperature, aroma, dosage, and more can be customized for each drink. All customizations can be saved to a user profile to preserve settings from user to user. The display is backlit for easy viewing in any lighting.
The grinder has 10 grind settings, uses flat ceramic burrs, and is adjustable in the hopper located at the top of the machine. The bean hopper has a capacity of 10.58 oz.
The integrated milk carafe froths milk automatically when selecting one of the milk drinks available, dispensing directly into the cup for one-touch specialties. Not only that, it actually froths milk twice for better consistency and to remove any large bubbles. The carafe is easily cleaned, and can detach from the machine for storage in the refrigerator.
For espresso drinks, a platform beneath the brew spouts can be pulled forward to keep your glass close to the spouts. Cup height is adjustable between 2.75 in. and 6.1 in.
The water reservoir and used coffee drawer are front-loading, providing easy access when needing to refill the tank or empty out spent coffee pucks. The water reservoir has a capacity of 60.8 fl-oz, and the used coffee drawer has a capacity of 10 pucks.
