In theory, the process of trying a new coffee blend is exhilarating.
First, you do the research to select the roast. Then you let the anticipation build as you wait for it to arrive. When it does arrive, you open the bag for the first time and take a large inhale of the intoxicating aroma escaping from it. Next you pour the beans in your hopper, then brew your first cup. You take your first sip, the excitement and anticipation at an all-time high, and… nothing. You know instantly that you don’t enjoy this blend and that you’ll either have to slog through the entire bag or toss it and start the entire process again. That, to us, is rotten luck exemplified.
If this has happened to you, don’t fret. As luck would have it, we’ve compiled a list of coffees bold enough to have gold in their name that are sure to make your taste buds feel like fortune is smiling upon them.
