Updated 03/26/2020 - Shipping Changes
On Thursday, March 26, 2020 UPS issued the following statement:
"Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination." - UPS
As a result, we are expecting that there may be delays as result of UPS making changes. Our warehouse team is doing everything they can to guarantee the prompt shipment of all orders we receive.
We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.
Updated 03/18/2020
On Wednesday, March 18, 2020 Andrew Cuomo, the governor of the State of New York issued a mandatory order for non-essential businesses to allow no more than 50% of their workforce on site. As mentioned in our initial post, Whole Latte Love has taken steps to ensure the safety of our staff and are in total compliance with recommendations from the CDC and the WHO.
Whole Latte Love is in it for the long haul. We've survived not only Y2K, the Dot Com Bubble, the stock market crash of 2000, and the great recession, but also local challenges including an ice storm in 2003 and numerous blackouts. We suspect that difficult times may still lie ahead, but diamonds are born under pressure. Here are some of the new steps we have taken:
- We have implemented several shipping and tech shifts that are socially separated at our warehouse.
- The majority of our marketing and support staff are now working remote.
- Inventory preparations have been made to keep popular items available in the event of manufacturer shortages.
Hello Coffee Lovers,
My name is Gary Salzman and I am the CEO and Founder of Whole Latte Love. Over the last 23 years we have experienced many trials and tribulations but nothing so complex as the challenge of the COVID-19 virus. As a country, we are the most resilient people on the planet. As a company, the people who work at Whole Latte Love are cut from that same cloth.
We have implemented a comprehensive plan to ensure everyone's safety that we have shared with you in this post. The key word I want to resonate with everyone is "confidence". Confidence that our customers needs will be our first priority, that we will be completely transparent and honest. Our goal is to make sure all our customers start each day with a delicious cup of coffee, cappuccino, latte or espresso. Thank you for being our customer.
In accordance with available information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) we have implemented a rigorous cleaning regiment to keep the workplace clean. I'll leave it to Cheyenne to explain:
