Making it With MaryAnn
The fall marks the beginning of the holiday season, a time of sharing and socializing. Each year I usually like to try something different. This year I was thinking it would be nice to make a treat with espresso mixed in! A bit of searching and I found a delicious idea, rich brownies with a bold espresso baked in.
To start you’ll need to following ingredients:
- 1 cup Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 5oz Danesi Emerald Roast Espresso
- 1 cup Sugar
- ½ cup Butter
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 3 Eggs
First, combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
On the stove heat 5, 1 oz shots of Danesi Emerald roast espresso in a saucepan. Stir in sugar and butter then bring to a boil.
Once the ingredients are brought to a boil, remove from the heat and mix in 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth.
Add in 3 eggs and stir in the large bowl mix stirring well.
Pour your finished mixture into a greased baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 28 minutes.
