Gaggia Brera: Pump Test and Ventilation

If your Gaggia Brera's steam wand is producing too much steam, or your milk looks like it is boiling, then you may need to make an adjustment to your frothing technique. If you have tried adjusting your technique and the wand still appears to be producing too much steam, there may be an issue with your Pannarello Wand Attachments. Pump testing can help resolve flow issues as well. For more information about the steam wand attachment, check out our article on  The Test Mode is broken down into several different pages. You change pages by pressing the top right ON/OFF button to go to the next page. If you go too far, you’ll have to continue cycling through until it starts over. The pages are indicated by the descale, bean, and scoop icons on the bottom row of your screen. For your purposes, you’ll want page 4 for the pump.
