With a width of less than 10 inches, the ECM Mechanika VI Slim is a heat exchanger espresso machine that retains the sleek stylings and 2.2L boiler of previous Mechanika versions, while improving upon its predecessors with updates like an all-new three-position control switch to easily select one of three preset boiler temperatures, as well as the ability to turn pre-infusion and ECO mode on or off.
The Mechanika VI Slim utilizes returning features like dual pressure gauges, a custom ECM E61 brew group, and a PID to help alleviate the constant monitoring of temperature and the need to perform periodic cooling flushes that are required of heat exchanger machines.
New to this version of the Mechanika line of machines is the three-position switch. Located on the right side of the bottom of the machine, the switch allows for easy adjustment between three preset boiler temperatures, as well as the ability to turn pre-infusion and ECO mode on or off.
Inside the mirror-finished, stainless steel exterior is an intuitive interior layout that allows the machine to utilize its signature compact design. The 2.2L stainless steel boiler is vertically oriented to allow for the minimal width, and features thermal insulation for greater energy efficiency. The OPV also remains accessible from the top of the machine, located underneath the reservoir lid.
When it comes to modern heat exchanger espresso machines, the ECM Mechanika VI Slim raises the bar. Not only is the Mechanika VI Slim staggeringly compact, it also houses best-in-class features to maximize the quality of your coffee, as well as minimize the typical maintenance and care required of heat exchanger machines. The addition of a three-position switch for easy adjustment of essential settings like temperature, preinfusion, and ECO mode is truly a game changer in this regard.
Located on the right side of the bottom of the machine, the all-new three-position switch allows for easy adjustment between three preset boiler temperatures, as well as the ability to turn pre-infusion and ECO mode on or off.
With a width of 9.8 inches, a depth of 17.5 inches, and a height of 15.6 inches, the Mechanika VI Slim doesn't ask for much space at all, fitting comfortably beneath standard kitchen cabinetry and leaving plenty of room on the counter.
The Mechanika VI Slim is equipped with a 1400W stainless steel boiler with a capacity of 2.2L. As a heat exchanger machine, you can expect to brew and steam without waiting, or even at the same time.
The E61 grouphead is constantly heated with water from the thermosyphon system for temperature stability. It also features a pre-infusion cylinder to aid in the extraction process.
