The Moccamaster KM5 Burr Grinder is the definitive companion to the legendary Moccamaster series of coffee makers and an excellent all-purpose option for grinding coffee for the full spectrum of brewed coffee. Housed in aluminum, it echoes the form of Moccamaster coffee makers and is backed by the same 5-year warranty. With stepless grind adjustment and a powerful direct drive motor the KM5 is a performance oriented grinder with superior build quality to its rivals in the space.
Designed for brewed coffee grinding the KM5 excels at quietly and efficiently producing ground coffee in a range of sizes from cold brew up to medium-fine drip. Thanks to an anti-static design in the dispensing spout, grinding on the KM5 is neat and grounds are fluffy and free of clumps. It's rare to find stepless adjustment on a brewed coffee grinder but the KM5 uses a stepless knob that is calibrated with the entire range of movement for the burrs. This allows you to precisely dial in coffee for perfect extractions while still being able to make rapid adjustment from one setting to another.
From a build quality standpoint, the grinder is handmade in the Netherlands and features both aluminum housing as well as a glass container for ground coffee.
