Gaggia Anima and Magenta: Hopper Lid Error

The bean hopper lid on Gaggia Anima and Magenta machines uses a small round magnet to trigger a safety sensor that tells the machine the hopper door is closed. If the plastic cap that holds the magnet comes loose, the magnet can fall out, cause a “close your door” message, or in worse cases drop into the grinder and jam it (often showing an E01 grinder blocked error).
