The indicator with the triangle and tea cup on your machine will mean the machine wants you to turn the knob to the right to run some water through the wand. Typically this will clear the error and you’re ready to brew. If water is dispensed but you’ve got the error still, there may be a problem with your flow meter.
Why Do I Keep Getting the Error After Water Dispenses?
If no water dispenses at any point in the machine's operation, you may need to Force Prime.
Repeat priming errors might mean a flowmeter problem, but it may also mean a flow problem.
The flow meter is a device that measures how much water is flowing through the system. The device operates by having small fan-like blades spin when water passes through it. If those blades get stuck from excessive scale buildup or debris, then they will not spin. As a result, even though water is flowing through the machine, you will get a flow error.
If the flow meter is scaled, it is possible to resolve the issue by running a descale cycle on the machine.
If the automated descale cycle is not working due to flow issues, try the Manual Descaling option with the Pump Test and Ventilation article.
If the flow meter has failed or is unplugged, the machine will need to be opened so you can inspect the wiring and/or replace the flow meter.
