Run a full tank of descaling solution and water in through the various EV settings to make sure you’re getting some solution down all of the pathways. Flow issues may make it so the automated descaling process cannot complete. Tech Menu Video Gaggia Babila: Manual Descaling Procedure Run a full tank of water with the descaling solution through the various EV settings to ensure water and solution go to all pathways. Activate the boilers to heat the water. Heated solution will clean more effectively. Allow the machine to sit for at least half an hour with the solution in the system. Up to a few hours is just fine, more than that is unnecessary. Be sure to rinse the reservoir itself out before filling with rinse water. Rinse through all EV settings thoroughly. At least 2 full tanks of water should be used for the rinsing. Alternatively, try the automated descaling process without any solution if the descaling has resolved the flow issue.
