Gaggia Velasca: Steam Wand Flow Issue

If you have flow to your brew or carafe areas, but no flow to the steam wand, there is likely a blockage somewhere along the water pathway. Remove the steam wand tip to ensure a blockage in the wand is not causing the problem. How To: Diagnose and Resolve Steam Flow Issues Steam Wand Flow Issues Using a pin to poke into the tip of the bare wand Soaking the wand and attachments in hot water and some degreasing cleaner can be helpful. Be sure to try purging without the tip attached.  Excessive steam from the right side vents during steaming may indicate an issue Some steam from either side vent is normal to see. If it is more than previously or ONLY coming out of the vents, you may have a blockage. Cleaning the boiler spout may help correct flow issues. See the video below.
