Gaggia Brera: No Flow or Slow Flow

No water flow, slow or uneven flow, or screen errors like a repeat priming request or top lights error can all indicate flow issues. Typically, flow issues will be due to buildup or blockages in your brew unit area due to coffee oil or in your machine's internal water pathway due to scale build up.  A Priming Request may not be an issue. Turn your knob to the right to dispense water from the steam wand. When the lights change again, return the knob to the center. A Top Lights Error can indicate a few different potential issues based on when it appears. It does not necessarily refer to a flow problem. Use this link for more information on the Top Lights Error on your machine    The Add Water Error is not a flow issue. This error indicates your machine is not detecting water in the reservoir which means the reservoir needs to be filled, the water does not have any mineral content whatsoever (and therefore cannot be detected) or the sensor has failed.
