How to Fix Spout Issues on a Gaggia Anima

What to know about the dispensing spout:

• The black part of the spout is actually just held on by tension
  • Pull the spout to the lowest position
  • From there, a bit more force or wiggling should allow the spout to come free
  • See the video above for the process
• Hand wash removable spout with dish soap and warm water
  • DO NOT run machine parts through the dishwasher as this can cause warping
  • A small brush or pipe cleaner can clean the spouts as well as up into the machine
• Afterwards you can run some blank shots to help flush out any buildup.
  • Select the beverage to brew on screen
  • Set your aroma strength to the scoop setting
  • A lungo or long coffee will allow for the largest volume for rinsing purposes
