Open slowly; keep clear of discharge.Tip the machine carefully (protect the frame).Locate the wingnut/bolt securing the pump mounts.Remove the fastener; ensure the pump sits level on its isolation mounts.Result: quieter operation and proper vibration isolation.During warm-up, you may hear a hiss and see a little steam water into the drip tray—that’s the vacuum relief valve venting. This is normal.Left/Top gauge (brew): shows pump/line pressure via capillary.Right/Bottom gauge (steam): shows steam boiler pressure.PID: sets boiler temperatures; firmware/hardware updates can change steam-pressure behavior (e.g., newer 2.5-bar safety valve and updated PID profile).
