Gaggia Anima: Noises During Brewing

If your Gaggia Anima makes a squealing or high-pitched sound while brewing or rinsing, the cause is often the boiler spout (the part the brew unit docks into). This guide walks you through safely accessing the boiler spout, removing it, inspecting and cleaning the internal valve components (spring and rubber valve piece), slightly stretching the spring to reduce noise, and then reassembling the machine.
