Gaggia Anima: Replace the Display Screen

If your Gaggia Anima display is blank or stuck on a solid red warning screen, the machine may still have power but the screen itself may have failed. This guide walks you through removing the front trim, accessing the display and button assembly, swapping the screen, reconnecting the ribbon cables, and reinstalling the front cover. It also notes the one key difference on the base Anima model, where the hot water arm must be removed and reinstalled during disassembly and reassembly.
