Learn how to force prime an ECM Puristika espresso machine. 1. Used a prime ball, turkey baster, or syringe, filled with water. Remove the cap to the water reservoir, pull the filter off the water line and insert it into the hose. Turn the machine on, lift the lever, and push water through the line to push out the air locking up the pump.
