The Ceado E5SD is the latest addition to our collection and sits among the greatest single-dosing coffee grinders here at Whole Latte Love including Ceado’s E37SD and of course, the E37Z-Hero. What’s unique about the E5SD is the 64mm antioxidant flat burrs, it’s crazy-fast speed, and the zero retention bellows that push all of your ground coffee out of the grinding chamber and into your portafilter.
With 64mm flat burrs, the E5SD can seamlessly slice through every coffee bean leaving you with a consistent quality grind, perfect for espresso extraction. Flat burrs are known for not only creating a consistent grind but also for reducing heat transfer, which can cause thermal expansion and particle inconsistency. The E5SD dodges this bullet and features a unique pair of 64mm burrs that were treated with an antioxidant coating to protect against degradation and rust..
Probably the most notable feature on the E5SD is the zero retention bellows sitting on top of the grinder. This feature allows you to add your fresh whole bean coffee directly into the grinding chamber, and while grinding, to gently tap on the bellows to push any residual coffee grounds out of the chute and into your portafilter. If you’re keen on precision and the perfect variables when making your coffee, you’ll love this feature on the E5SD. You can easily adjust your grind size using the grinder’s stepless grinding adjustment to achieve your desired grind size and utilize the zero retention bellows to achieve a precise single-dose.
