As soon as you lay eyes on the iSi Sodamaker Classic, you immediately see how it lives up to its name. The criss-cross stainless steel mesh around the outside of the hard plastic reservoir on the Sodamaker Classic harkens back to mid century modern design and seems like it would fit perfectly on the bar cart of any 1960s sitcom. Operation is simple as well — all you have to do is attach a CO2 charger, shake the bottle at least five times, and remove the charger to carbonate your water. To make soda or flavored seltzer, pour your seltzer into a glass and stir in your syrup or juice.
Our preferred use for the Sodamaker Classic at Whole Latte Love is as a palate cleanser during coffee or espresso tastings. Unflavored seltzer is the favored palate cleanser for many specialty coffee enthusiasts, and with this soda maker, you have an unlimited supply for round after round of tasting.
