The button layout of the DeLonghi La Specialista helps to make brewing easy with a x2 button for double shots or pouring espresso into two glasses and an “Ok” button to start brewing. The preset drinks can be selected with the quick turn of a knob before starting your coffee.
Right after your coffee has been ground into your portafilter, the La Specialista has a lever which can be pulled to tamp your grounds with the right amount of pressure.
With two separate heating systems in place, there is no wait time between brewing your drink and steaming milk.
Users can choose between two choices, Flat or Foam, to find the right type of milk for their drinks. The Flat option will steam milk for lattes and Flat Whites, while Foam will froth milk for cappuccinos.
