Barista Improving Taste Glass Cappuccino Cup
Made from thick, durable glass and designed with a geometry for pouring cappuccinos, the 6 oz Barista Improving Taste Glass Cappuccino Cup is designed to help train home baristas how to properly pour traditional and contemporary cappuccinos.
The glass features measuring lines for single and double shots as well as measuring lines for CC (contemporary cappuccino) and TC (traditional cappuccino).
Traditional Cappuccino
Fill espresso to the "1" line. Milk foam should reach the "TC" line.
The traditional cappuccino is prepared in the original Italian style with a single shot of espresso and with more foam added to less milk. The resulting drink has a less coffee forward flavor and less caffeine and a much more dense cap of foam.
Contemporary Cappuccino
Fill espresso to the "2" line. Milk foam should reach the "CC" line.
The contemporary cappuccino is prepared with a more traditional double shot of espresso and by adding less foam to more milk. The flavor is more balanced between the coffee and milk with more blending and a smaller cap of foam.
To help with frothing for cappuccinos, the cup can be paired with the BIT Cappuccino Frothing Pitcher.
