BIT Bruno 8g Italian Single-Shot 58mm Filter Baskets
The BIT Bruno is a unique precision portafilter basket designed by legendary cup tasting champion Sauro Dall’Aglio in collaboration with IMS. The Bruno is an electropolished filter basket with a similar “Pozzetto” shape to the BIT Renato series baskets. Bruno is intended for use with more traditional Italian style coffees and roasts that are pulled as single shots.
During extraction, water is naturally encouraged to flow down and towards the center of the puck. As a consequence of the design, shots pulled on the Bruno benefit from reduced channeling and more even contact time between water and all areas of the puck. The electropolishing further improves the flow of water, cleaning and smoothing out the metal.
The Bruno basket can be dosed up to 8g.
