The perfect accompaniment to a Dalla Corte espresso machine, the Dalla Corte DC One grinder is designed to take full advantage of Dalla Corte’s GCS or Grinder Control System. With single and double dosing options, each programmable within 1/1000 of a second and a set of 65 mm burrs with 0.01 mm electronic adjustment, the DC One guarantees efficient, accurate grinding that truly shines when working in tandem with a machine like the Dalla Corte XT or Evo 2.

When utilizing the GCS, the dance between machine and grinder is a site to behold. The DC One receives realtime information from the machine as it extracts espresso. Changes in extraction parameters caused by factors like humidity and temperature are then automatically corrected for by the grinder which adjusts its grind to compensate. Working together, the machine and grinder all but eliminate barista intervention, guaranteeing consistent shots throughout the day and freeing up time to focus on customers. For greater efficiency, the DC One is equipped with a set of pins to detect whether the portafilter being inserted is a single or double spout, and will automatically select the corresponding dose.

Under the hood, the DC One grinds with a powerful 500 W motor and a set of 65 mm flat burrs. Grind adjustment is handled electronically and will automatically be updated when the GCS is enabled. When operating the grinder manually, grind fineness can be adjusted via a password protected menu to prevent tampering or accidental changes from occurring. To further preserve the integrity of your espresso, the DC One is equipped with an automatic cooling system with a series of fans that cool the burrs to prevent heat transfer.

For maintenance, the DC One features a burr cleaning cycle that can be run via the menu, along with a series of shot counters and an alarm function. The alarms will display error messages on the DC One’s display that correspond with a list in the user manual so you can easily address and solve any issues that you might encounter.

As is the case with their espresso machines, Dalla Corte designed the DC One to take the guesswork out of day-to-day operation all the while guaranteeing the very best grinding results. A remarkable grinder, the DC One truly shines when paired with a Dalla Corte espresso machine.
  • GCS (Grinder Control System)

The hallmark of the DC One and Two grinders, the GCS connects the DC One to your DC Pro, Evo 2, or XT espresso machine. Once connected, the GCS actively communicates flow rate information from your machine to your grinder and will automatically adjust your burrs finer or coarser. Save time, save coffee, and save money!

  • Split Second Timing

Proper dosing requires the utmost precision when it comes to grinding time. With that in mind, DC One can be programmed within 1/1000 of a second to ensure perfect dosing for your single or double shot. In the event that you are not using the GCS, the dose adjustment menu is also password protected to prevent accidental changes or tampering to occur throughout the day.

  • Automatic Cooling

Transfer of heat to your ground coffee can have a detrimental effect on extraction and ruin your espresso. The Automatic Cooling system uses special fans to reduce burr temperature and preserve the integrity of your coffee throughout the grinding process.

  • Extreme Precision

The most minute changes to grind can affect your extraction. The DC One’s burrs can be adjusted in increments of 0.01 mm for maximum precision. Burr adjustment is handled automatically when the GCS has been enabled, otherwise, the password protected grind adjustment menu allows you to manually adjust the burrs as well. The DC One can still grind and dose coffee, even while being adjusted.
