Eureka Mignon Zero 55s Single-Dose Grinder
The Eureka Mignon Zero 55s is an entry-level single-dosing coffee grinder designed for all purpose use with minimal retention. With its bellows assembly, the 55s boasts retention as low as 0.2g and features both anti-clumping and silent technologies. Equipped with a hands-free fork, the Zero 55s grinds into an included 45g dosing cup that can be used to flip transfer coffee into portafilters.
Features and Benefits
Designed for low-retention, all-purpose grinding, the Mignon Zero 55s has received several design updates to improve its performance. In a minor but meaningful change, the dosing cup holder is now closer to the grinding chute, helping to ensure that coffee lands cleaning in the dosing cup. To assist with making larger grind size adjustments, the Zero 55s has been outfitted with Eureka's King-size Dial to make it easier to turn.
Coffee is ground with a set 55mm flat steel burrs, powered by a 310W motor. Grind adjustment is stepless and micrometric, with the lower burr being raised and lowered as the dial is turned. This design allows you to retain your grind setting when opening the grinder for maintenance.
Low retention is key in single dosing. The Zero 55s is utilizes Eureka's "Blow Up" bellows in order to evacuate retained coffee from the grinding chamber. In the event that you need to prepare multiple coffees or espresso shots back to back, the single-dose hopper can hold up to 150g of whole bean coffee. Â
