Eureka Mignon Zero 65 Speedy
The Eureka Mignon Zero 65 Speedy is a compact and high speed single dosing grinder that has been optimized for espresso grinding. With a set of 65mm flat steel burrs, the Speedy can grind an 18g double shot in under seven seconds. Grind adjustment is easy thanks to the King Size Dial and the Speedy delivers on aesthetics with its oak base for the included dosing cup.
If you're looking for a simple single dosing workflow, you'll appreciate the straightforward on/off operation and the convenient bellows and vented bean hopper shutter.
Why You Want the Mignon Zero 65 Speedy
High Speed Espresso
When Eureka says "Speedy" they mean it. The Zero 65 Speedy can achieve grinding speeds of up to 2.8g/sec at espresso fineness, meaning that you can produce an 18g double shot in roughly 6.5 seconds. This high rate of grind helps cut down on prep time which is especially appreciated when single-dosing.
The included 45g dosing cup has a small ridge to rest on portafilters for flip transferring ground coffee into the filter basket.
Ease of Use
Grinding coffee is as simple as loading the bean hopper and pressing the start switch. When finished grinding, simply press the switch again to turn the grinder off. The included dosing cup is perfect for weighing out your whole beans, and for transferring ground coffee into your portafilter when you're finished grinding.
Optimized Design
The Zero 65 Speedy has been optimized to improve its performance both for espresso grinding and single dosing. The King Size Dial makes it easier to make precise stepless grind adjustments which is helpful for dialing in new coffees.
Inside the bean hopper, the metal shutter can be closed during grinding to prevent beans from "popcorning" out of the grinding chamber and is vented to allow you to push air through the grinder via the bellows even when the shutter is closed.
