64mm Flat Steel Brew Burrs
The Gen 2’s key upgrade are its reengineered brew burrs. Featuring two-stage grinding geometry they can produce grinds as small as 250 microns and greater and offer incredible in-cup clarity.
The Fellow Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 delivers on the incredible value of its predecessor while featuring updated Gen 2 Brew Burrs that can achieve a much lower grinding range starting at 250 microns. The Gen 2 retains the Smart Speed PID motor for a steady 1,400 RPM grinding to ensure low static and uniform particle distribution.
The key update to the Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 are the 64mm flat steel brew burrs. The updated design features two-stage grinding geometry which allows the grinder to achieve much finer grinds as a result. A key benefit of this change is the increase in extraction yield when hand brewing very light roasted coffee The burrs are still absolutely massive for a grinder of this price and size and the Smart Speed PID motor operates at a steady 1,400 RPM so that the same grinding forces are applied to every bean, guaranteeing grind quality and particle distribution.
The Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 is stepped with 31 grind settings available, with grind size adjusted by the large dial on the front. All you need to do is rotate, and the grinder will glide between Cold Brew, French Press, Drip, Pour Over, and Prismo (coffee using Fellow's AeroPress Filter). Another minor update is the Gen 2’s larger load chute which can now accommodate a 100 gram dose. The Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 still grinds quietly at about 60 dB, which is about the same level as a normal conversation.
The Fellow Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 inherits the best features of the original like its premium construction, intuitive operation, Smart Speed PID Motor, single-dosing and low retention design with only one minor yet major change to the burrs. If you are looking to brew exceptional coffee, the Ode Gen 2 is an exceptional grinder to consider.

The direct-drive motor uses PID feedback control to keep RPM steady so that forces exerted on the coffee are consistent throughout the grinding process, resulting in better grind quality and more even particle distribution.
The large dial on the front of the grinder glides between Cold Brew, French Press, Drip, Pour Over, and Prismo (coffee using Fellow's AeroPress Filter).
The Ode Gen 2 features an updated 100 gram loading chute for even higher dosing and bigger brews. The minor increase in size has a negligible effect on the overall size of the Ode Gen 2 so it’s still incredibly compact.
