Owning the Impress Coffee Brewer
Chic, hands on, and unplugged, the Impress Coffee Brewer is manual single-cup brewer like no other. Part press, part thermos, the Impress is made of two pieces. The first is the double walled outer cup that keeps it cool to the touch and insulates your drinks. The second is a reverse flow-filter inner cup that functions as your press. To brew coffee using the Impress, simply fill the outer cup with up to 14 oz of hot water and add your ground coffee. After steeping your grounds (3 minutes yields ideal extraction), insert the inner cup and press down to filter the brewed coffee from the grounds. The result is a clean and full flavored cup. To prevent over extraction after brewing, the filter locks in place to cut off the grounds from your coffee, ending the steeping process. Each Impress comes with removable silicone lid, ideal for travel. Its dimensions are 6" in height by 3.375" diameter.
