A fruit-forward, washed coffee from Nicaraguan farmers Dan Fancisco and Blanca Nieve, this single-origin coffee from Joe Bean is the most recent entry in the more than six year relationship between roaster and farmer. Grown in the high hills of Jinotega on Francisco and Nieve's farm known as "El Diamante," the high altitude of the mountains allow the beans to mature more slowly for more complex flavors.
Expect notes of peach, tangerine, apple, and pear, in juicy and clean cup, owing to the washed processing. The flexibility of this coffee produces a tasty cup in brew methods.
