A fusion of convenience and flexibility, the innovative Saeco Minuto Class is both an espresso machine and a single-cup coffee brewer. It's all thanks to the innovative dual pressure lever which is used to transition the machine from one brewing mode to the other. When the lever is flipped down, the machine brews like any of Saeco's super-automatic machines. But when the lever is flipped up, the Minuto switches to a low pressure pulse brewing mode that extracts a milder beverage, similar to drip coffee, and all at the push of a button. Best of all, there's no extra programming or plastic capsules required. The Minuto also offers several notable Saeco features, such as rapid steam, ceramic grinding burrs, automated maintenance functions, and an easy to use automatic milk frother.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Upkeep of your machine is made easy, thanks to the fully automated rinsing and descaling programs. This helps to ensure both the longevity of your machine and the flavor of your coffee. As an additional convenience, both the drip tray and servings container are dishwasher safe for effortless cleaning.

The Dual Pressure Lever

The Minuto's defining feature is an innovative dual pressure leverthat revolutionizes the brewing experience by allowing you to effortlessly switch between espresso and drip coffee. When the lever is flipped up, the Minuto switches to a low pressure (2 bar) pulse brew, resulting in a milder beverage with a body and character similar to drip coffee. When the lever is flipped down the machine brews at the traditional 15 bar that is ideal for espresso extraction.

Frothing and Hot Water

You’ll be able to prepare all of your favorite specialty milk drinks with ease, thanks the Minuto's automatic milk frother and rapid steam boiler. You can also dispense hot water for non-coffee beverages, like tea and hot chocolate. The Minuto's water reservoir holds 1.8 liters or approximately 61 oz of water.

Weight and Dimensions

The Minuto Class measures 8.46" L x 16.89" D x 13" H and weighs 15.87 lbs.

Warranty

This machine includes a 1 year warranty directly through Saeco and an additional limited 1 Year Extended Warranty from Whole Latte Love.

Robust Brewing Options

In addition to the flexibility provided by the dual pressure lever, the Minuto features five selectable strength and volume settings, as well as three pre-set drink settings, allowing you to craft a drink that is tailored to your exact specifications. You can also program the Minuto to remember your preferred settings using its Memo function for an encore performance at the push of a button. Lastly, the brewing spouts are both adjustable and removable to provide a maximum cup clearance of 7".

Grinder and Bean Hopper

The Minuto Class has a durable ceramic burr grinder to help ensure silent operation and minimal heat transfer. The grinder features five adjustable grind settings, ranging from fine to coarse, to accommodate both full-bodied espresso and lighter coffee, more akin to drip-style brewing. The bean hopper holds 250 grams, or approximately 9 oz, of whole bean coffee, while the dump box has the capacity to hold 15 spent coffee pucks.
