The Shot Collar Espresso Preparation Funnel and Distribution Tool from Saint Anthony reimagines the traditional dosing funnel. Fitting the rim of a 58mm portafilter and made of solid stainless steel, the Shot Collar has aircraft precision to ensure coffee lands in the basket at a higher rate for less waste.
The solid bar included in this design helps even out coffee distribution with a simple spin, through agitating the grounds. Simply spin the Shot Collar much like you would a tamp. With a more even distribution, your puck will have uniform resistance when brewed with to prevent challenging, leading to your optimal shot.
