Technivorm Moccamaster KBG 741 AO Overview

The Technivorm Moccamaster KBG 741 AO is a 10-cup glass carafe coffeemaker. Each machine is handmade by Technivorm engineers in the Netherlands, and built with two separate heating elements to monitor both the brewing temperature and the temperature of the heating plate. These elements ensure a brew temperature between 198-205°F and a holding temperature between 176-185°F. It is this precision that has earned the Moccamasters certification from the Specialty Coffee Association of America, the European Coffee Brewing Centre, and the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe.

To brew, the Moccamaster uses a unique 9-hole shower head that soaks the grounds evenly for ideal extraction conditions. The machine can brew up to 10 cups of coffee in just six minutes and features an auto shutoff function that cuts power to the heating plate after two hours. The water reservoir is made of clear plastic and is labeled with increments from 2 to 10 cups allowing you to measure the precise amount of water you need. When adding ground coffee, the Moccamaster is compatible with both Technivorm cone paper filters and gold tone filters.
  • Unique 9-Hole Outlet Arm

The 9-hole water dispenser pulses water across the coffee grounds to ensure the grounds are fully saturated and evenly extracted during brewing. Water is heated to the SCA recommended temperature range of 196°-205°F.

  • Hot Plate with Auto Shut Off

The Moccamaster KBG brewer keeps your coffee at drinking temperature for up to 100 minutes with its integrated hot plate. Operate the brewer manually using the power button, or switch the hot plate button to the right to keep coffee heated to 185°F or the left for 175°F.
