Who said our vegan and vegetarian coffee-lovers can’t have fun with espresso this summer? We did not forget about you all, that’s why we’re giving you this delicious Vegan Iced Maple & Macadamia Nut Cappuccino recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you cooled off this summer. We used our 969.Coffee Elba 3 Espresso Machine for this recipe.
If you value a machine that has a modern aesthetic balanced with some natural elements, the Elba 3 machine has tons of character that cater to your personal style. It has a natural and wood-grained design balanced with stainless steel housing. On top of the aesthetic, I was taken aback by the incredible steam power of the Elba 3. It has the ability to brew two espresso-based drinks using the double-spout portafilter and it can steam milk at the same time. Here’s how we whipped up this delicious and vegan-friendly Iced Maple & Macadamia Nut Cappuccino using the 969.9Coffee Elba 3.

Fill a 12 oz frothing pitcher one third of the way full with the macadamia milk.
Brew a shot of espresso and froth your milk. For an authentic cappuccino, you’ll want equal parts dry milk foam and hot milk.
Fill your glass halfway with ice and add 1 pump of your maple and macadamia syrup.Top off with your espresso.
Thoroughly mix your ice, syrup, and espresso. Slowly pour your milk into your glass. A thick layer of foam should follow the initial liquid milk.
Lightly drizzle maple syrup on top of your iced cappuccino and you’re all set!
We hope you try out this yummy recipe and share it with your fellow coffee and espresso-loving friends!
The Elba machines get their name from a small island in the Tyrrhenian sea close to Livorno, Italy, famous to have imprisoned the French Emperor Napoleon at the beginning of the 19th century. 969.Coffee not only provides its customers with high-quality espresso machines but also share their story of Italian history and make the customers feel part of the family. With two production plants in Milan and in Venice, you’ll definitely get a feel of authentic Italian culture with 969.Coffee’s espresso machines.
The Elba 1 and Elba 3 machines are great semi-automatic machines whether or not you’re making delicious vegan-friendly recipes. One of the many defining features of the Elba 1 is the heat exchange boiler—you’ll get a large 1.5-liter boiler, a large capacity for a small machine. Speaking of, the Elbas are only 9.25 inches wide, so you can be sure they'll fit anywhere in your home. You’ll also find that the Elba 1 is equipped with a convenient, fully detachable magnetic drip tray which makes it incredibly easy to remove and clean.
Integrated safety protocols, such as an anti-flood feature and a feature that won’t allow the pump to run when there isn’t any water in the reservoir, keep the Elbas easy and safe to use for newer users. If there’s any machine for an espresso lover out there who are looking for a charming and down-to-earth Italian-made machine that’s compact, durable and gives the control to produce quality espresso that matches your flavor preference, the Elba machines just might be your perfect fit.
