Bezzera BZ13 DE with Rosewood Accents Overview

The Bezzera BZ13 DE with Rosewood accents is an incredible heat-exchanger espresso machine, with style and performance to spare. The industrial charm paired with modern technology makes this semi-automatic a delight to work with, and the rosewood accents offer a nice conversation piece. For starters, the BZ13 DE is ready to brew and steam straight out of the box thanks to the copper heat-exchanger boiler which can heat to brew temperature in just 8 minutes. This means that while you go through your morning routine and grind, level and tamp your coffee, the BZ13 will probably be ready to brew before you are.

Features and Performance

Heat-exchange boilers are a big deal if you’re serious about your coffee. If you’re hosting guests and you’re making milk-beverages back-to-back, then a machine like the BZ13 DE is perfect for you and your lifestyle. Add on the intuitive PID controller and you’re on your way to becoming the talk of the town. You’ll be able to directly control the temperature of the steam boiler, with the brew temperature offset displayed on the screen. Whether you’re steaming milk for a latte, cappuccino, a flat white or a macchiato. The heat-exchanger boiler on the BZ13 DE handles all of the work for you while the PID features gives you control over the final results of your beverage, and keeps temperatures stable.

Why You Should Get It

Three programmable buttons on the face of the machine allow you to pull single or double shots at the touch of a button, and brew manually so that you can curate your espresso just how you like it. With the BZ13 DE, you have the best of both worlds. The machine can put the brew process entirely in your hands, or to make things easier on busy days, you can press a button and go, knowing that your drinks will be consistent in temperature, flavor and volume.

If you’re opening a bed and breakfast or simply serve a lot of guests, the unique design of the brew group and surrounding frame give the BZ13 one of the hottest cup trays we’ve seen. Thrown in its NSF certification and you’ve got a flexible machine at home and on the job.
