Water is heated rapidly by the stainless steel-lined aluminum heating element. The MT900 can heat up to 10 cups of coffee in less than 7 minutes. If you’re the kind of person who can’t wait for that first cup every morning, the drip stop feature allows you to pause the brew cycle and pour yourself a cup. For clean pouring, the glass carafe features a drip-free pouring spout. To ensure the best extraction the showerhead is extra wide to fully saturate all of the coffee grounds while brewing. Located to the right of the carafe, the programmable LED clock doubles as a timer that can be set to have the coffee maker power on begin brewing at the time of your choosing. The MT900 is equipped with an electronic filter indicator that monitors the number of pots you brew to alert you when it's time to replace your charcoal filter. The MT900 is equipped with a memory function that saves all of your programmed settings in the event of short power outages (up to 10 seconds). The MT900 is fitted with a safety auto shut-off that triggers when brewing is completed.
