The HeyCafe Jack is an impressive all-purpose home coffee grinding with a set of 64mm steel burrs and stepless grind adjustment. While it lacks any kind of programmability in favor of simple "start/stop" operation, the grinder can be used for both hopper fed and single dosing and features a height adjustable tray to accommodate dosing cups and containers of various sizes.

Features and Benefits

Despite its modest price, the Jack is housed in durable cast aluminum housing with glossy black and white powder coating options. Coffee is ground at speeds between 1.5 - 3g/sec with the Jack's 200W motor and 64mm flat steel burrs. Grind adjustment is stepless, but the Jack features a useful grind size reference chart that's printed directly above the chute which makes finding the grind for your desired brew method easy, even for new baristas.

The Jack ships with both a 250g transparent plastic bean hopper and a bellows attachment. This allows the grinder to be operated in both hopper fed and single-dose configurations but also makes it easy to change between grind sizes for various brew methods. Simply remove the hopper, grind through any remaining beans and attach the bellows to purge any remaining coffee from the grinds chamber.

Depending on the size of your dosing cup, the Jack's catch tray is height adjustable via a set of two tension screws on either side. You can also hold a portafilter directly under the spout if desired.
