Concave-Convex Design
The C9 inherits the unique contours introduced on JURA's premium Z10 espresso machine with an elegant concave-convex front panel design that curves inwards at the base beneath the spouts.
The JURA C9 innovates on-demand home espresso brewing the all-new Light Extraction Process. This compact machine echoes the design of JURA's premium Z10 and features the ability to brew at 140°, AKA Light Extraction, to produce milder, ready-to-drink beverages. With an integrated milk frother, the C9 has a menu of one-touch milk drinks like flat whites and cortados and features a full-sized brew group to dose up to 16g of coffee per shot.
The C9's key feature the Light Extraction Process brews coffee with 10% less coffee and lowers the extraction temperature to 140°. The resulting coffee is milder, airier, and immediately drinkable. Light Extraction can be selected on demand, or set as the default for all drinks brewed on the machine. You can customize each drink with a unique strength setting between 5-16g in 10 increments and three temperature settings. The C9's integrated milk frother opens up the machines menu to include one-touch milk drinks. In total the C9 can produce:
Espresso, Coffee, Cortado, Espresso Macchiato, Cappuccino, Flat White, Latte Macchiato, Portion of Milk Foam
As one of JURA's compact machines, the C9 measures just a hair above 10" wide. The panel design is inspired by JURA's premium Z10 machine with a unique concave-convex panels that curve inward at the base and out and up. The full color LCD display is clear and easy to navigate with traditional buttons to make drink selection and programming clean and unambiguous.
Maintenance is kept simple with a monitored drip tray that alerts you when it needs to be emptied and a sizeable 16 serving spent coffee drawer. All necessary maintenance routines are accessed via the JURA cockpit, including milk frother cleaning which uses the included container for effortless closed circuit milk system cleaning. Water quality and limescale protection are handled by the CLEARYL Smart+ water filter system and the C9 will alert you when it's time to replace your water filter.
The C9 is the perfect blend of performance, compactness and style. Not only does it inherit the premium form factor of the much more expensive Z10, but its marquis feature the Light Extraction Process delivers an entirely new and unique brewing experience for both coffee and milk specialties. This pushes the C9 to the forefront of super-auto innovation with a new style of brewing for people who want to fast forward to perfect drinking temperature.
The C9 inherits the unique contours introduced on JURA's premium Z10 espresso machine with an elegant concave-convex front panel design that curves inwards at the base beneath the spouts.

Designed as a more mild on-demand option, JURA's Light Extraction Process brews coffee at a lower temperature 60°C/140°F and with a slightly smaller dose. The result is milder and immediately drinkable coffee.

This new series of JURA compact machines are the first of their kind to brew using the traditional 5 - 16g brew group used in all other JURA espresso machines for more intense, higher dose extractions.

You can brew 8 different one-touch drinks ranging from classic espressos to café favorites like cortados and flat whites. Each drink can be further customized via Light Extraction for 17 total customizations.
