The Lelit Elizabeth is a unique dual boiler espresso machine that delivers precision temperature control and on-demand steam for specialty milk drinks. Features like programmable shot times and customizable pre-infusion keep the brewing experience user-friendly while tall spouts and a large cup tray make the machine an easy upgrade for new home baristas.
When brewing espresso, precision temperature control is a must to ensure proper extraction, and the LELIT58 commercial group is Lelit’s solution at the entry level. By locating the boiler directly above the brew group, heat loss is minimized while heat transfer from the boiler and the group to the portafilter are maximized.
The easy-to-read PID controls brew temperature directly, allowing for precise, 1° increments in both Farenheit and Celcius. It also allows users to adjust steam boiler temperature to adjust pressure to their liking.
The Elizabeth also features a set of programmable brew buttons that can be set to brew by time, automatically starting and stopping extraction at the appropriate time. This unique feature is especially helpful when learning to brew and steam simultaneously. Pre-infusion can also be switched on and off, and programmed with delay to pause for up to 10 seconds before extraction begins.
If you’re upgrading to the Elizabeth from a previous machine, or if you’ve never owned an espresso machine before, the extra tall spouts are very flexible with clearance up to four inches. Out-of-the-box extras like 9-11g single and 14-18g double IMS precision portafilter baskets, cleaning products, and a barista towel round out the experience and set you up for success.
With so many options available, choosing a machine can be overwhelming. With the Elizabeth, Lelit has accounted for all the variables that stand between a new barista and a great coffee experience. Rapid heatup times, precision temperatures, programmable shots, and extra tall spouts can accommodate any type of coffee and any type of cup.
With separate boilers for brewing and steaming, the Elizabeth benefits from both high temperature stability and powerful steam. The LELIT58 commercial brew group is located directly below the brew boiler, permitting rapid heat transfer for efficient heating and recovery between shots.
Lelit’s signature circular OLED display serves as the control center for the Elizabeth. From inside the display, users can program brew and steam temperatures, switch off the steam boiler, activate pre-infusion, and program brew times. During extraction, the OLED doubles as a shot timer and will display a progress bar when the boiler is heating up.
Similar to the Lelit Victoria, the Elizabeth has an extra tall design to permit brewing into traditional American coffee cups and small travel mugs. The added clearance also helps when brewing directly over ice or into pre-frothed milk. When pulling straight espresso, the included wire riser can elevate your cups to prevent splashing.
Unique among consumer dual boiler machines, the Elizabeth features programmable single and double shot buttons that can be set to brew based on time. Additionally, the Elizabeth has a pre-infusion function that can be enabled to gently pre-wet the grounds with a programmable time delay before starting extraction.
