Lelit MaraX3 Espresso Machine

The Lelit MaraX3 is a compact heat exchanger espresso machine that gives you control over both brewing temperature, but also extraction pressure. Featuring Lelit's signature dual PID design with a PID probe located in the heat exchanger, the MaraX3 allows you to select between one of three temperatures and to change priority between precise brew temperature or powerful steam.

Just like the Bianca, the MaraX3 features wood accenting on the portafilter, knobs and brew lever, and includes premium accessories like wooden feet and a wood handle tamper. The marquis feature of the MaraX3, the Pagaia, is a paddle that controls the variable pressure vibration pump to unlock a new dimension of brewing.

Pagaia Variable Pressure Pump Control

The MaraX3 delivers variable pressure brewing with its "Pagaia" system. This is different from controlling flow with a valve, and instead allows you to control the pressure output at the pump in real time during extractions. With Pagaia you can experiment with brewing at different static pressures (like 3, 6, or the standard 9 bar), or you can adjust pressure during extraction for low pressure pre-infusions at the start of shots or tapering pressure off at the end of the shot.

Dual PID Boiler Regulation

If you want stable brew temperatures without sacrificing on-demand steam, the MaraX3's dual PID system monitor the temperature inside the boiler itself and the heat exchanger in order to maintain one of three selected temperatures (warm 198°F, hot 201°F, and extra hot 204°F).

There's also  the Xmode settings where you can tell the MaraX3 to prioritize brew temperature for extraction stability, or steam pressure for back-to-back milk drinks.

Premium Component Design

The MaraX3 features all-wood knobs, levers, and portafilters, along with optional 1.25" matching wooden feet. The portafilter, knobs, brew lever and included tamper have a gem shaped design that is subtly incorporated into each component. On the sides of the machine, a logo stripe decorates the housing and pops with contrast on the black and white models.
