The Lelit Steve is a powerful 64mm burr grinder that was designed as a companion to the MaraX3 but can easily be paired with a number of prosumer espresso machines. Made in Italy and housed in stainless steel, the Steve houses a powerful motor with a grinding speed of our 2.5g/sec. With a stepped adjustment dial that serves as a platform for your tamper, the William is easy to navigate and adjust, and comes in multiple colors and finishes to match any machine and kitchen.

Lelit Synergy

If you're a fan of Lelit machines and accessories, the Steve's aesthetics are a perfect match. The rounded edges mirror the common design language found across all of Lelit's machines, both E61 and otherwise. If you own a MaraX3, Steve's side mounted logo plate directly mirrors the plate on the Mara. You've also got several colors, including black, white, and two styles of stainless steel (brushed and polished) so you can guarantee that your grinder looks great paired with any machine.

Precision Grinding

Compared to its predecessor the William, the thread pitch of the Steve's burr adjustment has been refined from 1.5mm to 1mm. Now, a single numeric adjustment (from 2 to 3 for example) may result in only a 5 second change in extraction. The Steve also features half-step adjustments in between the numbers on its dial, so you can very easily make meaningful changes to you grind without losing track of your settings. The Steve also has a set of new 64mm flat steel burrs co-designed by Lelit and Italian burr manufacturer Keber.

Multifunctional Grinding

With its 64mm burrs and powerful motor the Steve can produce grinds suitable for espresso at a rate of 2.5g/sec. Numbered 1 - 10, the grind adjustment dial rotates in half step increments and is capable of multiple full revolutions in half step increments. On top of the dial, the Steve has a unique feature in the form of a platform that serves as a handy spot to store your tamper when not in use. Programming doses on the Steve makes use of the “-” and “+” buttons on either side of the OLED display. Doses can be programmed within 1/10th of a second and fully manual grinding is possible as well.

Grinding and does selection on the William are controlled via a microswitch located behind the panel below the grinds chute. To accommodate portafilters of different shapes and sizes the top pin is height adjustable while the chute can be adjusted to change the angle at which coffee is dispensed into the portafilter. Atop the grinder, the Steve's hopper holds up to 12.3oz of whole bean coffee and is sealed with a heavy metal lid.
