The second tier in Ceado’s E37 series, the updated E37S is a step up from the J model both in terms of power, capacity and automatic grinding capabilities.The E37S is stepless, meaning you have access to essentially infinite grind settings by turning the handle on the Quick Set Gear. With the gear handle, you can adjust your grind size quickly and easily. The mechanically suspended, 500 watt motor is surprisingly quiet, and tirelessly revolves the E37S’s 83mm burrs. Upgrades from earlier E37S iterations include: an improved coffee chute with an internal flap to prevent clumping, an improved tight-fitting base tray, and a crystal clear touch screen display.
This brings us to the crowning feature on the E37S: it’s comprehensive controls. Not only can you program a single and double shot to dispense by time, within 1/10th of a second, the Ceado E37S features an “extra” button that can also be programmed to your liking. We usually use it for a triple shot, for those triple shot kind of mornings. Of course, you can always grind manually to top off your shot, or for a more hands on experience. Another great addition to the controls are three different modes of operation, so you can choose between selecting the dose on the screen, holding the button with your portafilter, or tapping it once or twice depending on the desired dose. Ceado has really thought of everything with the E37S.
We’re floored by Ceado’s innovative attention to detail when it comes to the design of their grinders. One feature we think is leaps and bounds above the competition is Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr Technology. This design keeps the burrs at a constant distance apart from one another, whether they’re grinding for one shot or one hundred. This makes grinding with the E37S seriously consistent. Plus, the burss never have to be recalibrated after cleaning. If your E37S is dialed in already, you can literally lift the burrs apart for cleaning, screw them back together, and grind a great shot right away without any adjustment necessary. The Ceado E37S is capable of dispensing a single, double or “extra” shot at the press of a button or tap of the portafilter. The grinder dispenses by time, within 1/10th of one second. For added functionality, manual grinding can be utilized with a simple push and hold functionality.

Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr System is a true innovation. It keeps the burrs locked into place at a designated distance apart, regardless of use, which ensures consistent grounds and simply doesn’t allow the burrs to fall out of calibration.

The E37S now has a worm gear assembly for stepless adjustment. By turning the handle, the worm gear can adjust the grind’s fineness without having to take your grinder apart to get your preferred grinding range. Sealed threads act as clog repellent for uninterrupted use.

The E37S' mechanically suspended motor is encased in a shell and rests on rubber mounts to allow the machine to function 30% quieter than its peers. This 500 watt rectified motor is designed to minimize thermal expansion during the grinding process.
